During the 1980s he experimented endlessly at i-D with devices including polaroid photography, photocopier distortions, layering and mixing of type and image to create apparently random and chaotic 'instant design' solutions. i-D became an important springboard for many young designers and photographers. Jones has also worked in video and television graphics and for the fashion labels Fiorucci and Mexx. |
